The SupraSport torque plates are CNC designed and fabricated from 50mm (2") thick 5038 aluminum. This material has the least possible warping. Bore side is micro surfaced for the best possible fitment.

We make these torque plates for various engines, if not available for your engine, we can design and fabricate the desired torque plate. As these are custom made, we can also provide custom thickness, material and various other optional features.

Why you should always use a torque plate:
Head-bolt torque can dramatically distort / deform cylinders. So if an engine or cylinder is bored and/or honed without the correct tension, cylinder dimensions change significantly after assembly. Rings won't seal well and scuffing is likely to occur if the engine overheats. The use of a torque plate rectifies all of these problems, leading to more consistent tolerances, better sealing and more power.
